The hubs by Victoire Cycles, handmade in France, were one of the highlights in 2012. Victoire Cycles has set itself the task of creating the lightest and most stable track hubs from the best material with an optimal design. The CNC machined hubs are built from 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum, this material has 300% more strength than the usual types of aluminum that are otherwise used in the bicycle industry. The special 16-spline track cogs sit free of play on the drive side and thus prevent the lockring from slipping off. Another highlight are the reworked spoke holes, which means that the spoke heads are sunk into the hub flange. Thoughts were also given to the attachment of the hubs, with 10mm female bolts made of titanium.
