A special interaction
Like his single speed brother, Arthur VI/IX embodies the characteristic Schindelhauer design DNA of clear, aero-influenced shapes and sportive geometry. You can't see the electric drive on its slim exterior, but with every pedal movement you feel the additional boost. Combined with the Pinion gearbox integrated directly into the frame, you feel even more comfortable on the road and climbs are a breeze. You are also well prepared for darkness and wet conditions thanks to the StVZO-compliant lighting system and mudguards.
Conspicuously inconspicuous
Electric inside, bike outside. A small rear-hub motor, the battery placed in the down tube and just one button on the top tube for control – every electric component is perfectly integrated to maintain the characteristic Schindelhauer design. Of course, Arthur VI/IX can also be operated via app for iOS and Android in addition to many other smart features.
Rear hub motor
The reliable, lightweight 250-watt rear-engine by MAHLE provides a noticeable boost upon the first pedal stroke and puts you in pole position as soon as the traffic light turns green.
Battery in the down tube
Depending on your preferred support level, the integrated 250Wh-battery will let you travel between 50 and 80 km. A full charge takes about 3 hours. In case of service, the battery can be removed.
Control with just one button or via app
Switch between assistance levels or control the integrated lights. Weather data and GPS navigation are available in the MAHLE app.
Gates Carbon Drive
Since day one, Schindelhauer has been using the superior belt drive from Gates, which consists of embedded carbon fibres. All bikes are specially designed for the belt drive in order to take advantage of all the benefits.
Shift like in a sports car
Completely agile and flexible on the road. As for the first time Arthur VI/IX is equipped with a Pinion gear unit. The royal class among bicycle gears was developed by former Porsche engineers and impresses with its special durability, reliability and precision. Thanks to its positioning, an optimal centre of gravity is ensured.
Pinion C-Line with 6 or 9 gears
The casing of the C-Line is made of an ultra-light magnesium alloy and has a resistant powder coating on the outside. For Arthur VI/IX you can choose between 6 or 9 gears (295%/568% spread).
Precise gear changes
Whether single consecutive gears or entire jumps, you always get direct feedback and thus a secure feeling when shifting. It doesn't matter whether you are standing at the traffic lights or driving - ideal in stop-and-go traffic.
Seamlessly integrated
Consistent with functionality and design. The frame is designed for exceptional requirements, as it is very light but at the same time robust and offers enough space to route all cables and brake cables internally. Thanks to the patented Belt Port, changing the belt drive is child's play.
6061 aluminium frame
Stable, robust and yet a true lightweight - the frame is made of high-quality 6061 aluminium. The smoothed weld seams using the "flat-welding" process are a visual highlight.
Designed for Gates Carbon Drive
The patented Belt Port, an almost invisible opening at the dropout, makes it possible to change the toothed belt. The carriage tensioning system is used for optimal adjustment of the belt tension.
Internal cable routing
New standards: Thanks to the one-piece hydroforming process, the completely hollow fork is particularly stable, but at the same time very light. Cables and brake cables are thus completely routed internally.
See and be seen
Always an illuminating appearance. The latest LED technology from LightSKIN is not only perfectly integrated into the handlebar and seatpost, but also complies with German StVZO regulations. It is always available at the touch of a button, because it is powered directly from the battery. During the day, you won't even notice that it's with you.
LightSKIN - integrated LED front light
With a brightness of 150 lumens, it is the world's smallest lens that meets the high requirements of the StVZO. Thanks to good heat dissipation, it has a long life span.
